Met Police confirms serving officer PC Kane McKnight charged with a series of sexual offences. He’s due in court, alleged conduct spans 2013–2022.

A Metropolitan Police officer, will appear at court this month charged with a series of sexual offences.
PC Kane McKnight is due to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on December 23 after his arrest in May 2022.
The officer, tied to the Met’s North Area command, has been suspended since July 2023 and before this was placed on restricted duties.
On October 31 he was charged with:
- Engaging in controlling/coercive behaviour
- Attempting to sexually assault a female by penetration
- Attempting to/attempted voyeurism
- Four counts of assault of a female by penetration
The offences relate to one victim and are alleged to have occurred between 2013 and 2022.
