Detectives seized 13 guns and a “substantial” amount of illegal drugs from the home of a man arrested for parole violation.
SALEM Ore. (KPTV) – Detectives seized 13 guns and a “substantial” amount of illegal drugs from the home of a man arrested for parole violation, according to the Salem Police Department.
Police say a search warrant was executed at the home of 40-year-old Juan Tenorio Jr., located on 18th Street Northeast in Salem, on Monday.
Tenorio had been arrested for a parole violation as the result of the investigation of a case involving him. He was in possession of two hand guns and about two pounds of meth at the time of his arrest, police say.
According to the Salem PD, Monday’s search warrant yielded the following:
- Five rifles, including two believed to be fully automatic
- One rifle-caliber pistol
- Four additional handguns
- Three short-barreled shotguns
- Various magazines and ammunition
- More than eight pounds of methamphetamine
- 604 grams of fentanyl
- 400 grams of cocaine
An investigation into Tenorio remains ongoing.
