Detectives have found more than 100 kilograms of drugs and a variety of firearms during a search of a property and vehicle in a rural suburb.

Police say they have shut down a major drug trafficking syndicate in Townsville after uncovering more than 100 kilograms of cannabis and arresting four people on multiple charges.
Queensland detectives from the Townsville-based Operation Xray Redshift searched a property in the rural suburb of Alligator Creek last week.
They said they found 108kg of cannabis, almost 8kg of methylamphetamine, 1kg of cocaine and more than $400,000 cash in the sting operation.
Illegal firearms were also found at the property, some wrapped in plastic amongst bushland, three rifles, a semi-automatic, a handgun, magazines and ammunition.
Queensland Police said they had closed the operation with four people arrested on 34 charges, including a 24-year-old Townsville man charged with 15 offences.
He is charged with offences including supplying dangerous drugs, possessing property from trafficking or supplying, unlawful supply of weapons, trafficking dangerous drugs, possessing counterfeit money and unlawful possession of weapons.
A 28-year-old Cairns man, a 24-year-old Townsville woman and a 59-year-old Townsville woman were also arrested and charged with drug offences.
All four have been remanded in police custody and are awaiting appearances in the Townsville Magistrates Court.
Major and Organised Crime Squad Detective Acting Senior Sergeant Andrew Bye said the operation had taken drugs off the street.
“We’ll continue to investigate and apprehend all offenders who bring these substances into the area to keep making Townsville safer,” he said.
