Dutch police arrest 10 men and execute 14 raids in a major drug trafficking probe tied to large seizures and cross-border links to Spain.

Dutch police arrested ten men and searched 14 locations during a large-scale drug trafficking operation carried out on Monday. The coordinated raids were led by the National Investigation and Intervention Unit, operating under the authority of the National Public Prosecution Service, and took place across the Rotterdam and The Hague regions.
All of the suspects are male, ranging in age from 22 to 58. Five are from Hoogvliet, while the others come from Poortugaal, Rotterdam, Zoetermeer, and Pijnacker. Two of the arrests were made in Pijnacker at Brink van Pietje Bell during a raid by the Special Intervention Service (DSI).
Authorities seized a range of illicit and high-value items during the searches, including drugs, cash, luxury watches, vehicles, and a firearm.
According to police, the operation is part of a wider investigation into drug trafficking networks. In a related case in December, officers arrested a 64-year-old man in Maassluis, seizing more than 350 kilograms of narcotics and multiple firearms.
The probe also has international links. A connected operation in Spain led to the discovery of approximately 190 kilograms of cocaine and the arrest of two suspects, including one French national and one Dutch citizen.
Seven of the ten suspects have since appeared before an examining judge. The remaining three were released pending further investigation but remain suspects in the case.
