Two Men Jailed After Cocaine Supply Probe in Fleetwood

Two men from Fleetwood sentenced to prison after a Lancashire Police probe uncovered cocaine supply and related offences.

Two men from Fleetwood, Lancashire, have been sentenced to prison after admitting their involvement in the supply of Class A drugs, Lancashire Police said.

The investigation began in May 2024 when officers with the Wyre Task Force observed a suspected drug deal on Blakiston Street. A subsequent search of a nearby property uncovered a significant quantity of suspected cocaine and cash.

As a result of the search, 33-year-old Sam Bridges, formerly of Belmont Road, and 24-year-old Harvey Brooks, of Lancaster Gate, were arrested and charged with drug offences. Both men later entered guilty pleas at Preston Crown Court on Thursday, February 12, 2026.

Bridges was convicted of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs, being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs, multiple counts of possession of controlled drugs, acquisition and possession of criminal property, and possession of an offensive weapon in a private place. He received a 45-month prison sentence.

Brooks pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply Class A and Class B drugs and related crimes involving criminal property. He was sentenced to 30 months in prison.

Sgt. Andy Ward of the Wyre Task Force emphasized that drug supply in local communities will not be tolerated, highlighting the importance of ongoing work to identify and disrupt illegal distribution networks. Officers encouraged anyone with information about drug supply in their area to report it to police.
