Police in south Belfast arrest four after a planned search uncovers suspected drugs, firearms, ammunition, cash and paraphernalia at a residential property.

Police in south Belfast have arrested four people after executing a planned search warrant at a residential property in the Danesfort Park area, uncovering a significant haul of suspected illegal items.
Officers discovered a large quantity of suspected controlled drugs spanning Class A, B and C substances, along with drug‑related paraphernalia and bundles of cash believed to be linked to criminal activity.
In addition to the drugs, police seized suspected ammunition and firearms, as well as firearm component parts during the search of the property.
Four individuals three men aged 25, 37 and 55, and a 56‑year‑old woman were arrested on suspicion of multiple offences, including drug‑related crimes, possession of a firearm in suspicious circumstances and possession of criminal property. All four remain in police custody as enquiries continue.
A spokesperson for the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) said officers will “continue to work tirelessly to investigate and arrest those involved in drug supply and criminality and remove drugs from our streets.”
They encouraged anyone with information about drug activity in their community to contact police.
