Texas sheriff’s deputies uncover dark web drug operation after investigating an overdose death; multiple narcotics, guns and electronics seized.

A Round Rock, Texas man has been arrested and a large cache of illegal drugs, a firearm and digital devices seized after sheriff’s deputies traced narcotics linked to a recent overdose death investigation to dark web sources, authorities said.
The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office Organized Crime Unit executed a search warrant on February 25, 2026, at a residence in the 700 block of David Curry Drive as part of a probe into the February 4 overdose death of a 77-year-old woman. Investigators say records indicated the suspect obtained illegal drugs through dark web marketplaces using cryptocurrency.
During the search, deputies confiscated a wide array of narcotics with alleged weights including 8.4 g of liquid LSD, 161 LSD tabs, 26.1 g of psychedelic mushrooms, 5.1 g of fentanyl, 140.1 g of methamphetamine (crystal and pills), and smaller amounts of other controlled substances like THC wax and Xanax. A handgun with magazine and ammunition, scales, baggies and other paraphernalia were also seized.
Investigators additionally recovered more than 20 cellphones, computers, hard drives, SD cards and other electronics, which are expected to aid the ongoing investigation into the dark web trafficking network.
The arrested individual identified as Jeannot Robinson was booked into the Williamson County Jail under a $100,000 bond. The sheriff’s office said the inquiry remains active as officers continue to examine digital evidence and narcotics connections.
