Dutch authorities have uncovered cash, narcotics, and weapons during a raid in Zutphen following an investigation into a suspected drug deal carried out in a public park.
The operation, conducted in May 2026, led investigators to a property where officers seized approximately €340,000 in cash along with quantities of drugs, firearms, ammunition, and other suspected criminal assets. Authorities believe the location may have been linked to organised narcotics distribution activity operating in the region.
The investigation reportedly began after police observed suspicious activity connected to a suspected drug transaction in a park area in Zutphen. Surveillance and follow-up inquiries later led officers to the address where the cache was discovered.
During the search, investigators recovered large amounts of cash believed to be connected to narcotics trafficking, as well as drugs packaged for distribution.
