Arkansas woman sentenced to 20 years in federal prison for possessing and distributing methamphetamine, prosecutors say.

A woman from Jacksonville, Arkansas has been sentenced to 20 years in federal prison after admitting to possessing and distributing methamphetamine, according to U.S. authorities.
Federal prosecutors said Jena Marie Osborn, 46, pleaded guilty to possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine in a case prosecuted in the Eastern District of Arkansas.
On April 1, 2026, U.S. District Judge James M. Moody Jr. sentenced Osborn to 240 months in federal prison, followed by five years of supervised release after completing her sentence.
Osborn, described by prosecutors as a multi-convicted felon, is already serving a 60-month state prison sentence related to possession of drug paraphernalia. Authorities said her federal sentence will begin once the state sentence is completed.
The federal charge was filed in November 2025, when Osborn was formally accused of possessing methamphetamine with the intent to distribute it. She pleaded guilty to the charge the same day the information was filed in federal court.
Officials noted that there is no parole in the federal prison system, meaning Osborn will be required to serve the majority of the sentence imposed by the court.
The case was investigated as part of ongoing federal efforts to disrupt drug trafficking operations involving methamphetamine distribution across Arkansas and surrounding regions.
