Florida man indicted on meth and firearm charges, facing up to life in prison for armed drug trafficking offenses.

Federal authorities have indicted a Florida man on multiple drug and firearm charges tied to alleged trafficking activity in Tallahassee.
According to prosecutors, 31-year-old Forrest Alan Price faces charges including possession with intent to distribute synthetic cathinone and methamphetamine, as well as carrying a firearm during a drug trafficking offense and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Price has already appeared in federal court for arraignment, with a jury trial scheduled for early June 2026.
If convicted, he faces significant penalties. The drug trafficking charge alone carries a mandatory minimum of five years and up to 40 years in prison, while the firearm charge could add a consecutive sentence ranging from five years to life. An additional charge related to firearm possession by a felon could result in up to 15 years behind bars.
The case is being investigated by a joint task force that includes the Drug Enforcement Administration, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, and local law enforcement.
Officials emphasized that the indictment is an allegation, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
The charges reflect ongoing federal efforts to target armed drug trafficking operations, particularly those involving methamphetamine and illegal firearms.
