“Ketamine Queen” Gets 15 Years in Matthew Perry Death

North Hollywood drug dealer known as the “Ketamine Queen” sentenced to 15 years for selling ketamine linked to actor Matthew Perry’s death.

A North Hollywood drug dealer known as the “Ketamine Queen” has been sentenced to 15 years in federal prison for her role in supplying ketamine linked to the overdose death of actor Matthew Perry.

Jasveen Sangha, 42, was sentenced by a U.S. federal court in Los Angeles after pleading guilty to multiple drug-related charges, including maintaining a drug-involved premises and distributing ketamine resulting in death or serious bodily injury.

Prosecutors said Sangha ran a large-scale drug trafficking operation from her North Hollywood residence, where she sold ketamine and other narcotics to clients, including high-profile figures in Hollywood.

Investigators determined that Sangha and a co-conspirator sold 51 vials of ketamine that were later delivered to Perry’s personal assistant, who administered the drug to the actor shortly before his death in October 2023.

Perry, best known for his role as Chandler Bing on the television series “Friends,” died at age 54 after suffering the acute effects of ketamine combined with accidental drowning.

Authorities said Sangha knowingly continued her drug trafficking activities despite the risks involved. Court filings described her as operating a “high-volume drug trafficking business” and marketing herself as a dealer who catered to wealthy clients.

The case is part of a wider investigation into how Perry obtained the drug. Five individuals were ultimately charged, including two doctors, a middleman, and the actor’s personal assistant. Several have already pleaded guilty, while others are still awaiting sentencing.

Federal prosecutors said the sentence reflects the seriousness of the offense and the consequences of supplying illegal drugs that result in fatal overdoses.
